Wedding Photographer Is A No-Show; Stranger Creates Best Surprise!
Of all the things that could wrong on your wedding day–
When Heather and Matt Koehler got married last month in Michigan, their wedding photographer, who they’d already paid for never showed up.
Yep, the photographer stood them up!
Bride Heather tells WNEM-TV that she was devastated. They had not a single professional photo to capture the moments of the wedding.
The day after the wedding, one of the guests was telling her cousin, Dana Gruszynski, about what had happened.
Turns out, Dana is a professional photographer.
She was heartbroken for the couple.
Even though she was a stranger, she reached out to Heather and offered an idea–If Heather and Matt would get all dolled up again in their wedding attire, she would do a photo shoot for them, free of charge.
How generous is that?
But wait, there’s more!
They set the date for three weeks later.
Meanwhile, Dana reached out to Heather’s sister who was able to reach out to family members and friends.
See, Dana wasn’t just setting up a photo shoot, she was recreating as much of Heather and Matt’s wedding day as she could!
The florist donated a similar bouquet and boutonniere.
A cousin has a large backyard that matched the backdrop of the original wedding.
Once Heather and Matt arrived for what they thought was just a photo shoot, Dana met them at the door with their flowers and led them to the backyard where they unknowingly walked into a recreation of their wedding day.

The uber romantic Dana made it possible for this sweet couple to recreate their first dance, eat cake, and of course, have photos of a day they truly will never forget.
The generosity of a perfect stranger.
Dana shares her story on her blog.
