Boy Who Gave Soldier $20 Is Honored For His Generosity

Myles Eckert is the kind of kid you hear about, about how he helped out a soldier, about how he remembers his dad.

He’s the kind of kid that sticks with you.

It’s happened to a lot of folks who have heard Myles’ story.

How when he was 10-year-old he found a $20 bill.

How instead of keeping it for himself, he gave it to a soldier he didn’t even know

A soldier who reminded Myles of his dad who died in Iraq.

Now, it’s Myles’ turn to get something.

Something really special.

CBS News’ Steve Hartman has this wonderful update about one awesome kid.
