Ed Sheeran Visits One Of His Youngest, Most Loyal Fans In The Hospital, Swoon

Singer Ed Sheerhan visits 9-year-old Melody Driscoll in the hospital. Melody has Rett syndrome and has spent most of her life in the hospital.

As if it’s possible to fall even more in love with singer Ed Sheeran.

My Eddie (it’s possible he doesn’t know this is real name) heard about a 6-year-old girl who has spent 80% of her life in the hospital as she’s treated for Rett syndrome.

Page Six reports that since Melody can’t get to My Eddie, My Eddie came to her.

I love this part–the little girl’s name is, “Melody.”

Melody’s mom tells People Magazine that even though her 9-year-old daughter can’t speak, she has a huge personality.

She first heard Ed Sheeran’s music about a year ago and fell in love.

Mom Karina started a YouTube campaign to get her daughter’s new crush to come visit.

As the video shows so beautifully, mission accomplished.

Who needs words when you have music.

Music with Ed Sheeran!

Here is the sweet video and thank you note that Melody’s mom posted on her Facebook page.

The song, “Photograph,” never sounded better.
