Custom Wet Suit Stitched Up For Penguin With Feather Loss Problem

Sea World creates a custom wet suit for a penguin with a feather loss problem.

It looks so fun to be a penguin.

One with a feather loss problem?

Not so much.

Just ask a little squirt of a girl at Sea World who goes by the name of, “Wonder Twin.”

She’s been losing feathers.

Chunks of them.

Which is a bigger deal than simply a fashion challenge.

The Guardian reports this also makes it really hard for her to manage her body temperature and pop in and out of the water with the other penguins.

So Sea World got the folks in their costume department to design and create a custom wet suit for Wonder Twin.

Talk about one happy camper penguin!

USA Today also has Wonder Twin’s story, explaining that Wonder Twin is an Adelie penguin.

They’re known to have feather loss in the wild, too.

So, it’s not just a captivity thing.

But where in the big, wild ocean is someone going to hook a girl up with a custom wet suit?

Well done, Sea World.
