This Will Be Most Inspiring Puppy Bowl Ever Featuring Special Needs Dogs
Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl is always a delight on Super Bowl Sunday.
USAToday reports that this year, it’s going to be inspiring, as well.
Puppy Bowl XIII is going to feature dogs with special needs.
A 3-legger, a deaf dog, a blind dog are all among the stars sure to score touchdowns in the hearts of dog lovers across America.
As someone who is on my third 3-legged cat, I have to admit that a certain pup caught my eye.
“Lucky” is the 15-week-old mixed breed, who was found on the side of the road with her brother, Ricky, and had her right front leg amputated after it was slammed in a crate door.
I’m happy to share that she has already found a forever home. He was adopted shortly after PB XIII was shot back in October.
Lucky is one of 78 puppies “competing” in this year’s PB XIII, representing 34 rescue organizations and 22 states. Most of them, like Lucky, have been adopted.
Catch all the adorable and inspiring puppy action Sunday, February 5th at 2 pm ET.
