Older Couple’s Engagement Photo Goes Viral Showing It’s Never Too Late To Find Love

The engagement photo for Murphy Wilson and Lucinda Myers is going viral as the older couple inspires the idea that it's never too late to find love.

One couple’s engagement photo is spreading hope for finding love across the internet.

70-year-old Cleveland “Murphy” Wilson and Lucinda Myers have gone to the same church in Huntsville, Alabama for years.

Never really talked much.

But earlier this year, Lucinda noticed Murphy hadn’t been at church for a few weeks, so she called him up to check on him.

That sparked a whirlwind romance.

WAFF says Wilson popped the question last month.

Photographer Gianna Snell captured the moment.

She has a great blog post where she shares more of this wonderful love story.

How Murphy has been a widower since 2013.

How Lucinda has been divorced and waiting for the right man to show up for 30 years!

No wonder so many people are attracted to their story and their photo.

Snell says even the photo shoot in a Huntsville park was magic.

“There were teenage girls, families and young couples who stopped what they were doing to take in this rare glimpse of an older couple whose love was so new that they couldn’t take their eyes off of each other. Their love was magnetic.”

Congratulations, Murphy and Lucinda!
