What Happened After Britain’s Got Talent Judge Told This Kid To Get Singing Lessons?
“Britain’s Got Talent” is the overseas first cousin to this country’s “America’s Got Talent.”
And just like the US-based show, the program is built on dreams.
Dreams of having your talent recognized.
Dreams of getting a shot at sharing your talent with the world.
It means taking a a huge risk.
That’s what 12-year-old Kyle Tomlinson found out when he tried out in 2014.
Judge David Walliams told the kid in no uncertain terms he should go get some singing lessons.
Kyle was crushed.
And apparently motivated.
See what happened when Kyle had the nerve to come try out again this year.
Kyle told The Sun newspaper, “So I sat down and thought about it, and the day after I went to my mum and dad and I went: ‘I need singing lessons.’
“My nana and grandad have paid for them every day since three years ago. It’s £15 every 30 minutes, and once a week, so it’s a lot of money.”
This story is dedicated to all the Kyles out there who have the nerve to pick themselves up, make themselves better and try again.
