TJ Maxx And Marshalls Still Paying Employees Of Their Closed Stores In Puerto Rico

TJ Maxx and Marshalls are continuing to pay their employees in Puerto Rico even though their stores on the island have been closed since Hurricane Maria hit in September.

TJ Maxx and Marshalls know more than good deals.

They know how to be good to their employees.

NBC Boston reports that the company is still sending paychecks to their workers in Puerto Rico, even though stores on the island have been closed since Hurricane Maria in September.

The company says simply, “We believe it is the right thing for us to do under these circumstances.”

Do good the right thing like this and people are going to talk.  One post is getting shared around Facebook. It’s by a man who was concerned about his son in Puerto Rico. Even in translation you can hear one father’s gratitude.

Makes me want to go spend my dollars and find a great bargain at this kind company!
