Donated Comfy Furniture Gives Rescue Dogs A Boost At No-Kill Shelter

Donated furniture is making life a little more comfy for rescue dogs at the no kill shelter at Knox County Humane Society in Galesburg, Illinois.

No one is telling the dogs to get off the furniture at the Knox County Humane Society in Galesburg, Illinois.

Far from it.

They got the brilliant idea to make each dog’s life a little brighter, a little more comfy, a little less stressful while each pup waits for a forever home.

They put out the call for donated recliners.

The response has been incredible.

From local residents to the millions of likes this idea is getting on social media.

OurQuadCities.com has the story.

The shelter posted a video of the dogs sitting like kings and queens on their chairs and it’s gone viral.

If you want to donate to this wonderful shelter of love you can make that possible here.

Just wondering–do you let your dog on the furniture at your house? Please weigh in in the comments section below.
