How A Stray Cat Named, “Dog” Now Helps Train Service Dogs

A former stray cat named, "Dog," helps train service dogs to deal with distractions.

A stray cat is showing we all have something to contribute.

An employee for Support Dogs, Inc. found this little black and white nugget in a barn.

He moved into the training center where he took on the name, “Dog.”

Though, it’s pronounced, “Dee-oh-gee.”

Dee-Oh helps the service dogs in training learn to focus on commands and tasks while dealing distractions.

Could there be a bigger distraction than a cat?

Here is Dee-Oh at work.
