Amazing Royal Wedding Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason Comes From One Incredible Family

Royal wedding cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason comes from an incredible family of talented musicians dedicated to becoming their best.

Teenaged cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason created Saturday what many might think impossible.

His solo during the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was a standout moment in a long list of unforgettable moments.

Who is this young man?

He’s only 19 years old.

That is incredible.

So is his backstory.

At home, he’s not that special.

Rather, one member of an incredible family.

CBS Sunday Morning‘s Lee Cowan introduces us.

This super talented young man had the world watching as he played three pieces while the royal couple went to sign the register.

He performed Franz Schubert’s “Ave Maria,” Gabriel Fauré’s “Après un rêve” and Maria Theresia von Paradis’ “Sicilienne.”

What was that moment like?

He shares on his Twitter feed.

Classicfm.com reports that thanks to his wonderful performance Saturday, Kanneh-Mason’s debut album, “Inspiration” is now #1 on the US iTunes pop chart.
