10-Year-Old Girl Shows How To Honor Forgotten Civil Rights Hero Edwin Pratt

10-year-old Sarah Haycox goes on a campaign to remember and honor forgotten civil rights leader Edwin Pratt.

Edwin Pratt.

His is probably not a name you’ve heard of.

Which is wrong.

Because Edwin Pratt was a hero.

A civil rights hero.

When 10-year-old Sarah Haycox came across a random memorial with his name on it, she decided she wanted to know Pratt’s story.

Once she knew his story, she became determined that he be known, honored, remembered.

How did one girl work the system in her hometown of Shoreline, Washington?

This is a lesson in how to change the world.

From one awesome girl.

CBS News’ Steve Hartman tells this inspiring story.

You can get more information on Sarah’s story on her GoFundMe page.
