NFL Player Marquise Goodwin Surprises Mom And Disabled Sister With A New House
NFL rising star Marquise Goodwin knows how to score.
On the football field and in life.
Soon after Goodwin signed a new contract with the San Francisco 49’ers he ran out and bought a new house for his mother, Tamina, and his sister, Deja.
Deja has cerebral palsy. She can’t walk or talk.
Goodwin says she is also the secret to his success.
He told ESPN, “If Deja wasn’t my sister, I feel like I would still be motivated but not in the way that I am today. Having a disabled sister, that’s a lot more motivation, especially when she tells you growing up that she wishes she can be out there with the kids playing and she wishes she can be out there running around.’
He wanted to share his good fortune with the women who he says made him who he is today.
The set up?
Mom and sister thought they were in on a surprise for Marquise’s wife, Morgan. All the women agreed to be blindfolded.
