Strangers Open Their Home As Couple Faces Rained Out Wedding

Rained out is a dream come true said no bride ever.

Yet, that’s what Dulce Gonzalez and her fiance, Ariel, were facing last Saturday in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

All look clear as they set up the perfect wedding scene on the beach.

Those looming clouds meant this wedding was in serious danger of being rained out.

When the skies opened, Dulce was convinced her big day was ruined.

She told Yahoo Lifestyle, “I was in the car with my mom and dad about to have a panic attack and break down crying, thinking, ‘Oh, my God. What are we going to do?’”

Little did she know that Cynthia Strunk and her husband were watching this all unfold from their home across the street.

They didn’t think twice about what they needed to do next.

“She comes out and the lightning strikes, so she put her umbrella down,” Gonzalez recalled. “She came up to the window and said, ‘Y’all are more than welcome to come to our house. I’ll have everything ready in 10 minutes.’”

WLOX-TV has their story.

She also shared the story of this wonderful wedding on Facebook.
