Let's just cut to the quick answer. Uh, that would be, uh, "yes."
There's a lot going on around here. It's the final weeks before everything before my first book, What's Possible! is due.
Why am I having flashbacks to sophomore year in college? Oh, so this is what it felt like to have 20 term papers due. No wonder midnight pizzas washed down with a pint of Haagen Dazs Honey Vanilla ice cream was more attractive than facing the music!
The good news is that this time around my subject matter is so much more interesting to me than the history of petroleum engineering or Statistics 101 or some other course I had to take to fulfill a requirement.
This time it means I talk to and interview inspiring people all day long. I can't wait for you to meet all these folks when the book comes out in April.
For now, your daily dose of DarynKagan.com will have to do. I'm still spinning all the plates it takes to keep bringing you inspirational content.
That's where the punchy part comes in. I was taken with the Cat Pooh Coffee story you can now find on the Animals page. Turns out, it's possible that some of the most expensive coffee in the world comes from coffee beans that special cats in Indonesia have eaten. Yes, it has passed through digestive system into, well, their pooh.
I might be punchy and sleep deprivedbut I did have at least, the wherewithall to ask myself, "Self, Is that inspirational or hopeful news?"
Self replied, "Just because you're inspirational doesn't mean you can't laugh. Laughter is it's own kind of inspiration."
I let Intern Matt make the final call. He liked the story. And since it's his job to physically create the page to post the story, I figured he gets to decide.
So, Cat Pooh Coffee is in. I hope it brings a little humor to your day.
