Congratulations to Scott Rigsby!
Scott is the first person I profiled when DarynKagan.com launched almost a year ago on November 13, 2006.
Scott made history this weekend in Kona, Hawaii. He became the first double amputee ever to complete the Ironman Triathlon using prosthetics.
That's a 2.4 mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and 26.2 run.
Not only did Scott complete all that, he did the swim with no prosthetics and the bike ride with one set of legs and the run with still another.
This is a dream come true years in the making.
I'm so proud to help tell his story.
Way to go Scott!
