I mentioned a few days ago how this started as a pretty busy week for me. Now, I can tell you why.
My book publisher, Meredith Books, flew me up to New York to plan the Spring publicity tour for, "What's Possible!" It'll be my first book and comes out April 8th. I think I've only mentioned a zillion times that you can actually pre-order the book through Amazon.com. Have a look.
That was exciting enough. Learning all the ins and outs of how the book world works, how you sell, how those bestseller lists work. I felt like a 9-year-old learning the facts of life for the first time. "Ohhhhhhh. That's how that works?"
While I was in the Big Apple, I also accepted an invite to stop by Good Morning America. You might not know this, but the GMA folks are producing a 3rd hour of programming that you can only see online. I'm obviously all about online these days, so I was happy to be part of their new effort.
I'm blown away by what the GMA folks produced! It's like a nine minute DarynKagan.com mini-documentary! Check it out and you'll see and hear my motivation in creating this site and get a heads up on my upcoming projects.
It's always a bit strange to be on the other side of the interview questions, but anchor Heidi Jones made it oh so fun. She's a fellow runner and bubblier than the Diet Coke I'm drinking right now.
So, thanks, Heidi and all the producers and editors at GMA Now. You gave me a great gift. And yes, I'll take you up on that invitation to stop by when my book comes out in a few months.
