6-Hour Workday: Which Country Is Making The Shift?
A 6-hour workday?
“Sign me up!” I hear you say.
Seems to make a lot of sense.
Companies that are trying this on find employees are just as productive and certainly happier.
The trick seems to be calling fewer meetings and who wouldn’t be in favor of that?
They talk to a number of Swedish CEO’s who say they realize to survive the longer 8+ hour workdays, employees fill it with fluff and breaks.
But, what if you knew your workday was shorter and the stuff that really makes your heart sing was just a few hours away, filling up your life?
Things like more time with friends and family, more time to exercise, for hobbies?
One company, Fillimundus, which makes games and apps for kids has made the shift.
The company says they just ask employees to cut out stuff like social media during the day, get their work done and get on with their lives.
Is that a swap you’d be willing to make for a 6-hour workday?
