7-year-old Curtis Rodgers believed his babysitter deserved the best prom ever.
Little kid to the rescue of babysitter
Leave it to a devoted 7-year-old to show his babysitter she is the best ever.
Curtis Rodgers was feeling bad for Rachel Chapman when his mom explained she wouldn’t be able to have a high school prom because of the coronavirus lockdown situation.
Brilliant Curtis to the rescue. He told his mom they could throw Rachel a prom in their backyard in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Adorable prom-posal!
The plan came complete with a prom-posal asking Rachel to attend the event.
There were snacks.
And they used pool noodles to do some socially distant dancing.
‘She is one of the best people I’ve known.’

Somebody special
Curtis told ABC News in Raleigh, NC that Rachel deserved the special mini-prom because, “She is one of the best people I’ve known.”
Rachel told the news station, “I was kind of like bummed putting my dress on because I was sad; I don’t get to wear it to my senior prom.”
“After leaving it and having that time with him because it was the first time I had seen him in two months, it was like, really fun, and I’m really glad that he did that.”
