Boss Pays Off Vietnam Veteran’s Mortgage So He Can Retire Early

Mortgage was the one thing standing in the way of Albert Brigas’ retirement
The mortgage.
That was the one thing standing between Albert Brigas and his retirement.
Apparently, he talked about it a lot at his job at Renown Auto Restoration in San Antonio, Texas. How he was going to have to work another year to pay of his house.
That’s not even to say he was a pain.
Actually, the exact opposite.
Boss Rudy Quinones will tell you Brigas has been an incredible employee.
This Vietnam veteran would even come to work when he was sick.

Quinones just wanted to do something nice.
So, he gave Brigas the $5,000 to pay off the rest of his mortgage.
Sounds like both men win in this deal.
Brigas gets to go enjoy life with his family without the burden of paying off his house.
Quinones tells KENS-TV that he’s still glowing with the great feeling of doing this act of kindness.
“To give them something they’ve been yearning for their whole lives. it’s incredible.”
