Make that one Waffle House order of kindness with a smothering of help and love.
So, you’re in a WH for a late night meal and you notice there’s only one employee.
One struggling employee.
That’s what happened in Birmingham, Alabama last weekend.
The restaurant chain says it was apparently some sort of scheduling snafu.
For some kind-hearted customers, it was simply a chance to get to work.


The Daily Mail reports security cameras show other customers busing tables.
Customer Ethan Crispo says things were running so smoothly, he figured these were simply off-duty regular staff.
They were just nice folks.
Alison Stanley is the woman in the sequined dress who helped with pouring the coffee.
She told TODAY “I don’t think it’s anything special. He needed help, so I got up and helped out.”
The company tells Daily Mail, “We appreciate the customers’ effort, however we prefer to have our associates behind the counter. Our concept works best when we serve the customer, not the other way around.”
Truth is this company is so remarkable during weather emergencies, going and helping so many folks, it’s nice for customers to have the chance to return the favor.
