ABC News Correspondent Does Live Shot Without Pants-Living Moment We Can All Relate To
Correspondent Will Reeve was wearing blazer up top, swears shorts on the bottom
Pants or no pants?
That is the question so many viewers of Good Morning America had today as correspondent Will Reeve presented a report on drones delivering prescriptions to customers.
It all started out well enough, like so many live shots in this coronavirus era.
Reeve reporting from home.
Dressed in a blazer and button down shirt.
But, as viewers eyes drifted to the bottom of the screen, there it was.
The flash of thigh.
It appeared, Reeve wasn’t wearing pants.
A blooper in the making.
On live TV.
What exactly was he wearing?
Anchors Amy Robach and Michael Strahan didn’t catch it in their studio monitors, but viewers at home did.
Reeve replied on Twitter.
We’re our own camera operators these days when we broadcast from home ?— Will Reeve (@ReeveWill) April 28, 2020
The more Reeve went back and looked at the segment, the more mortified he became.
“Man, the more I look at this, the more thigh I see,” he tweeted. “Yikes.”
He does insist that he was wearing shorts, not just underwear.
As the teasing and attention continued, Reeve showed he has a good sense of humor about his goof.

So, why share this?
And to, be clear, I’m sharing this story, not to poke fun AT Will Reeve.
Good gosh, no.
There are too many of my own TV bloopers floating around out there.
Rather to celebrate him for having a great sense of humor on a mistake we can all relate to as our clothing standards, er, relax.
Can you imagine what’s going to happen when we actually, really do need to leave the house.
You got to be kidding.
Here’s hoping Will had one awesome workout.
One thing’s for sure–he was ready!
