Presenter Dan Walker had interviewed a man named Terrance who shared he is 78-years-old and has spent the last 20 Christmas Days alone.
Terrance’s spirt and story so moved BBC Breakfast viewers that Walker came back to his home with a few surprises.
Simple surprises, if you will.
Yet, the gesture were so big, Terrance was overcome with emotion.

The show didn’t work alone. They invited folks from nearby Oldham College to come by, first to gift Terrence with a small Christmas tree.
When Terrence had a moment to recover, Walker asked him if he were ready for another surprise. Could he handle it.

Walker took Terrence to his front door where the Oldham College choir was waiting for him.
As they broke out in “Silent Night,” Terrence broke out in sobs for the beautiful gift that had shown up on his front doorstep.

The surprises have continued for Terrence.
