The store doesn’t want customers to use plastic bags to carry their groceries home.

Global News reports has printed up bags with “Weird Adult Video Emporium” and “Wart Ointment Wholesale.”

Then there is the one with “Colon Care Co-op.”

David Lee Kwen is the owner of East West Market. He says a lot of customers forget to bring those reusable bags.

So he’s going for humor.

And if humor doesn’t do the trick, maybe money will.

The store charges customers five cents per bag.

The message might be a little too funny.

Kwen says some customers are coming in just to buy the bags and show their friends.

Meanwhile, this is all part of an overall trend to reduce the use of plastic.
