With over 500 people injured in the attack, there is a great need for blood in the Vegas area.
The local chapter of the American Red Cross are organizing those.
If you are not in Vegas, find some place close to where you live to give blood. It will not be wasted. What better way to honor the lives lost than by helping to save another?
Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak has set up a GoFundMe page to help victims of the attack.
He writes, “Funds will be used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting.”
You can also contribute to the National Compassion Fund. This organization promises to “contribute directly to support the immediate and long-term needs of the victims of the October 1st terror attack in Las Vegas, Nevada. Your gift will provide critical support to the victims and their families.
100% of the funds received through the National Compassion Fund Las Vegas will be distributed directly to victims. Donations to the Fund are held separately from general donations to the National Center for Victims of Crime.”
You could also donate to the Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross.
