How Your Kid’s Back To School Photo Can Earn Them A College Scholarship
That back to school photo you’re posting of your adorable kid might be worth more than the many likes you’re getting from friends and family on Facebook.
It just might win your kid a $2,000 college scholarship!
First National Bank of Omaha and Nebraska State Treasurer Don Stenberg
Beginning today, NEST 529 invites families to capture and submit back-to-school photos of children 8 years old or younger by September 30, 2018, the date the contest closes. Ten randomly selected winners will be awarded $2,000 each in the form of a NEST 529 contribution. Entries will be accepted by mail and online at .
Each photo should include only one child and that kid needs to 8 years-old or younger. That child would be the recipient of the college scholarship fund if they are picked.
Even though the bank and contest are based in Nebraska, any kid across the United States is eligible.
As a parent who is currently paying college tuition, let me tell you, it’s never too early to start cobbling together funds and every little bit helps.
Here’s hoping your kid’s back to school photo brings some good luck and a boost to their college fund!
Remember–each photo can only contain one kid. So make their misery last a moment longer while you get that extra snap.
Upload your photo by September 30, 2018.
