IGLOO Creates A Biodegradable Cooler 'RECOOL' To Replace Styrofoam Models

The RECOOL is already available for sale and runs about $25.

This biodegradable cooler is called, ‘The RECOOL’ and should be better for the environment

A new biodegradable cooler from IGLOO will no doubt have you excited for warmer weather and some fun outdoor activities.

IGLOO says ‘The RECOOL’ is the world’s first cooler made from biodegradable materials including paper pulp and a compound that helps keep it waterproof.

IGLOO says, “RECOOL is an environmentally sensitive alternative to harmful single use EPS foam coolers. “

It will keep ice frozen for up to 12 hours and hold water for up to 5 days.

IGLOO points out that while thousands of progressive municipalities have already banned the sale of foam coolers, RECOOL is legal in every city, county, state and country.

The new biodegradable cooler is meant to fight the problem that foam coolers present when they break apart turning into litter or end up in landfills.
