Kindergartner Invites His Entire Class To His Adoption Hearing And Makes His Dad Cry

Kindergartner invites his entire class to his adoption hearing.

Adoption Hearing turns into a sea of hearts and love for 5-year-old Michael Clark, Junior

An adoption hearing is already one of the happiest events any judge gets to oversee.

Judge Patricia Gardner got to look out into a sea of hearts this week as she made it official.

The strike of the gavel at this adoption hearing makes it official.

Michael Orlando Clark, Jr is now the son of David Eton and Andrea Melvin, a married couple who have been foster parents to Michael for over a year.

Melvin told CNN that Michael’s teacher in East Grand Rapids, Michigan approached her with the idea of bringing the entire class to the hearing.

WZZM reports the class has talked about how family doesn’t have to be DNA, because family is support and love.”

Brilliant move by WZZM reporter Nina DeSarro to hand the microphone to Michael Clark, Jr. to interview his dad after their adoption hearing. You have to watch the entire piece to see how Michael made his dad cry.

This adoption hearing is probably a field trip this kindergarten class will never forget.
