The Mom Who Wants To Make America Kind Again
One California stay-at-home mom has had enough of the vitriol of election season. Amanda Blanc wants to make America kind again.
Like all of us, she has seen all sorts of lawn signs around her neighborhood in Sacramento, California.
18 statewide propositions.
Stay-at-home mom, Amanda Blanc, really doesn’t care who or what you voted for.
She wants something simpler.
Bigger, you might say.
In a take off of Donald Trump’s slogan, “Make America Great Again,” Amanda came up with her own lawn sign.
“Make America Kind Again,” it reads.
She told KCRA, “It’s not about who you support, it’s about being able to go to a park and say, “Hi,” and go to the grocery store and someone drops something and you pick it up. Little things like that restore the kindness in the country.”
She simply wanted it for her own yard.
And soon found out she’s not the only one.
She’s been selling them on Etsy and can’t keep up with the demand.
Blanc says she doesn’t care who anyone voted for.
Her message is simply to be nice to your neighbors.
That’s something a lot of us would like to have sprouting up in our neighborhoods.
Blanc has created other inspired products promoting kindness.
They call all be found at her online Etsy shop.
One mom with one very powerful message.
