Prince Harry And Duchess Meghan Recycle Royal Wedding Flowers In The Sweetest Way
The thousands of wedding flowers at the royal wedding Saturday were just the right touch to set the backdrop for the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
What happened to those flowers after the big day shines the light again on just how special this couple is.
USA Today reports the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex donated a large portion of them to a hospice in London. Fifty gorgeous bouquets showed up at St. Joseph’s Hospice the day after the wedding. Each arrangement was given to patients on the wards.
As for the actual bridal bouquet, which included Princess Diana’s favorite flower, forget-me-not’s, it was placed at the grave of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey. The tradition began in 1923 with the late Queen Mother’s bouquet from her wedding to Prince Albert.
Here is a look at the royal wedding flowers spreading love the day after the big event.
