How Prince Harry Met His Hero-A Wounded Female US Marine
Britain’s Prince Harry has been photographed and linked with some of the most famous and beautiful women in the world.
The photo that will make you catch your breath is with a remarkable young American woman you probably never heard of.
Her name is Kirstie Ennis.
She suffered numerous injuries when her helicopter crashed in Afghanistan in 2012.
She has been on a long, uphill battle to recover.
Yet, with everything she faced and great pain, Sgt. Ennis went on to complete a 1,000 mile charity walk across Britain.

It was at the end of the walk that she met Prince Harry and offered him the dog tag of a Marine who died in Afghanistan.
People reports that Prince Harry became very emotional and was reluctant to accept such a treasure, but Ennis insisted.
It was impossible to say, “No,” to this Marine who put off major surgery in order to do the walk.
Weeks afterward, Ennis underwent the amputation of her lower left leg.
Complications meant another surgery last month when doctors had to go back and remove even more of Kirstie’s leg.
She’s fighting back with the help of her family and her boyfriend who is also a former Marine.
And she knows her new friend, Prince Harry, is cheering her on, as well.
He is said to be following her progress very closely.
And he’s looking forward to seeing her in May at the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for wounded, ill, and injured Service men and women – both active duty and veteran.
Sgt. Ennis hopes to compete in the swimming events at the Games which will take place in Orlando.
