Property Owner Tells Restaurants To Pay Workers Instead of Paying Rent

Property owner tells restaurants to skip April rent. Use the money to pay employees instead.

Collecting rent isn’t the most important thing right now for one Arkansas property owner.

Keep your April rent money.

That’s the message from one property owner to the restaurants that run their business in buildings owned by Young Investment Company, LLC in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Eleanor's Pizza in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Just one of the restaurants Young Property Company LLC is telling to skip April rent and pay their employees instead.

They don’t want the restaurants to actually hold onto the money they would use to pay April rent.

Instead, they want those businesses to pay their employees, as usual and take care of their families.

‘We will get through this together.’

KAIT-TV reports Young Investment owns the buildings that houses some of the most popular establishments in Jonesboro including Eleanor’s Pizzeria, Roots, Main Street Coffee, The Parsonage, and City Wok.

Doesn't this look delicious? A creation from the folks at Roots in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The owners are being told to skip April rent. Instead they should use the money to pay employees and take care of their families.
