Single Dad And Daughter Bond Over Braiding Hair

Single dad Phil Morgese taught himself to braid his young daughter's hair and is now teaching other dad's, too.

Braiding hair probably is not at the top of most dad’s “To Do” list.

Yet, it’s a skill that became increasingly important to Phil Morgese of Daytona Beach, Florida.

He tells CBS News that he was good at the guy stuff, but wanted to be able to create a style that pleased his young daughter, Emma.

It game them a great way to bond and now Morgese is teaching other dads how to do the same.

This story is dedicated to all the awesome dads I know who realize being their kid’s dad is the best and most important job they’ll ever have.

This video reminds me of a great ad campaign that ran in this year’s Super Bowl, where NFL dads tried their best to style their daughter’s hair.
