Tik Tok star Carlos Valdez inspired fans to create the best topping ever
Tik Tok star Carlos Valdez and his family know a couple things about pizza. They know what toppings they like and they know exactly who they want to deliver their delicious pizza pie.
Valdez told KSL TV that they always order from Papa John’s in Roy, Utah to they can request their favorite delivery driver.
Every time Derlin Newey brings a pizza to their front door the Valdezes make a video.
They’re just so taken with this extremely kind older gentleman.
How old?
Newey is 89 years old!
He works about 30 hours a week to help make ends meet.
The Valdez family decided they needed to do something special for Derlin, so they started a fund where fans of their social media channels could contribute.
This last week they gathered the funds and this time they did the delivery, bringing over a check for $12,000!
We just need to treat people with kindness and respect – the way he does. He stole our hearts.
