Superstar Tyler Perry picked up the tab for groceries during special senior shopping hours at Kroger and other stores
Tyler Perry turned grocery angel for seniors and people who are considered at risk as they did their shopping today.
Many stores are reserving the 8am hour for these shoppers.

Perry arranged to pick up the tab for every shopper buying groceries at 44 Kroger stores across Atlanta Wednesday morning.
He did the same at 29 Winn Dixie grocery stores in his hometown of New Orleans.

Making an immediate impact
“He wanted to do something special to provide immediate relief for some of the most vulnerable in the two cities he considers home,” a source tells PEOPLE.
Felix B. Turner is a Kroger corporate affairs manager he told 11Alive in an email. “We would like to join our customers in thanking Mr. Perry for his kindness and generosity during this unprecedented pandemic. It was truly a pleasure to see our customers fill with joy and gratitude as the news spread throughout 44 stores across metro Atlanta.”

TMZ reports when he went to pick up a carry out order at a Houston’s Restaurant he left servers a $21,000 tip.
