Volunteer Cuddlers Wanted To Socialize Rescue Pigs At Sanctuary Farm

Are you a good cuddler? These rescue pigs need you
Some adorable rescue pigs need you.
That is, if you are an expert cuddler.
Who wouldn’t want to get down and dirty to help some special piggies get adopted and find new homes.
Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary in Leesville, South Carolina is putting out the call.
They’re signing up volunteers to come cuddle with their pigs, so help socialize them and get them ready to be adopted.
The Cotton Branch website says, “At Cotton Branch Farm Animal Sanctuary we provide a safe haven for abandoned, abused, neglected, and elderly farm animals. While there are many shelters and rescue organizations for animal companions such as cats and dogs, and wildlife, there is a lack of sanctuary for farm animals, who make up 98% of the animals killed in the US each year. We exist to help those animals.”
One of their top missions is finding foster and forever homes for pot belly/miniature pigs.
They do have other volunteer opportunities, as well, like helping with other chores around the farm.
They had me at “Pig Cuddler!” My husband and I are signed up to get down and dirty with some piggies in April! Cannot wait!
You can find all their volunteer opportunities here.
