Watch Beluga Whale Return Woman's iPhone After She Drops It In The Ocean

We need to get this beluga whale her own iPhone commercial
The beluga whale was hanging around the Norwegian port city of Hammerfest last Spring.
USA Today reports belugas are usually shy around people, but this whale loved being social and hamming it up.

This whale let folks pet her, even pose for selfies.
Ina Mansika said she lay down on the dock to get a closer look at the whale.
That’s when her phone when plop in the water.
You know that awful, truly sinking feeling, yes?
Ina thought her phone was gone forever.
Of course, she did.
But get this: the whale dove down and came back up with phone!

I can watch this video over and over.
And in a weird “Can’t make this stuff up” twist–there was some speculation that the whale was actually a Russian spy.
The Washington Examiner reports some Norwegian officials think the whale defected from a Russian Navy program that trains sea mammals to swim around with cameras attached to them.

Officials were trying to see if there was a sanctuary where the whale could live since there were concerns, being so friendly, she might have trouble surviving in the wild.
This story suggests the whale found a home.
