Why This Recent Bride Keeps Wearing Her Wedding Dress To Delight One Special Little Girl
You won’t believe where this princess in a wedding dress works
Often, a bride only has one chance to wear her wedding dress.
Her wedding day.
Things are different for recent bride, Olivia Spark.
Thanks to an unexpected encounter with 5 year-old Layla Lester, Spark now has reason to wear her special dress quite often.
Layla is a little girl with autism who is obsessed with princesses. When she spotted Spark taking pictures on her wedding day in Akron, New York, Layla became convinced she’d spotted Cinderella.
What happened that day, what has happened since, is a beautiful story of friendship and kindness.
CBS News’ Steve Hartman tells it so well.
Here is a link to the GoFundMe mentioned in the video, as “Princess” Olivia and her family try to raise enough money to send Layla and her whole family to Disney World so Layla can meet some more real life princesses.
As Layla’s mother, Jessica, says of Olivia: “She’s the epitome of a true princess. She’s kind. She’s sweet. She went out of her way to make Layla’s day special, and who would do that other than a princess?”
