Co-Workers Surprise Nurse With Supplies When She Unexpectedly Wins Custody Of Infant Granddaughter

Nurse Pam Medina is overwhelmed after unexpectedly winning custody of her baby granddaughter. A fellow nurse, Sara Putnam, did a huge round up of supplies to help her care for the baby.

Sara Putman’s life is full of surprises these days, beginning with unexpectedly winning custody of her 7-month old granddaughter, Isabella.

Inside Edition reports that a co-worker overheard Sara talking about how overwhelmed she was with all the supplies she was going to need.

The court-ordered decision came as a surprise, and between Putman’s upcoming shift and the baby on the way, she didn’t have time to collect the items baby Isabella needed.

Pam Medina saw Sara going through a donation bin at the hospital where they work in Virginia.

Enthusiastically, Medina responded, “What do you need? I can find you everything you need.”

And she got right on it as soon as her 12-hour shift ended.  She hit up various Facebook groups with her mission and tons of moms responded.

She was able to pick up so many key items and surprise Sara just as her day shift was ending.

Here is the wonderful big reveal.

Sara didn’t share the circumstances that led to her getting custody of her baby granddaughter. Safe to say, not what you plan on.  But life happens. Angels like Sara step up to do what you need to.

So nice to see other angels like Pam and other moms supporting this wonderful grandma.

I hope sharing this brought some kindness to your day.
