Punster’s Lawn Cow Brings Smiles During Stressful Coronavirus Lockdown
What good is a lawn cow if she’s not making neighbors smile?
Full disclosure on this lawn cow.
She’s not just any cow.
She happens to be a friend.
Well, the cow of my good friend, Tracy Field.
We go back to Stanford days.
Tracy and I.
Not the cow.
The cow showed up a few years ago as a birthday present and she’s been a regular fixture in front of Tracy’s Atlanta home ever since.
Her name is Priscilla.
The baby cow showed up later.
You could call it the im-milk-culate conception, cause no one has seen any sign of any daddy…and that’s no bull.
The baby is Lisa Marie.
You getting the idea that Tracy is a huge Elvis fan?
For her 40th birthday, we all did a road trip to Graceland. Blue Maybelline eye shadow was required.
I digress.
Tracy has been making her neighborhood smile for years with the different puns she expresses through Priscilla.
Tracy shared she was a little concerned it was too soon to be making COVID-19 jokes. She’s an attorney specializing in healthcare and hospital issues. She knows very well how serious the situation is.
Then she sees the smiles of neighbors as they pass and she knows a little humor is the vitamin boost we all need in these challenging times.
The local news even came out and did a story with Tracy and her cows.
