Teenager Summer Dale Leaves Her Mother An Unexpected Path For Finding Happiness & Surviving Grief
What Summer Dale figured out about the seemingly impossible challenge of surviving grief
Lynne Dale has learned things about surviving grief that no mother ever wants to learn.
Summer Dale was a sophomore in high school when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
The medical journey was every bit as grueling as you would imagine.
And,
And,
The experience transformed Summer in a way her mother could’ve never imagined.
Lynne will tell you that Summer was a challenging, brooding teenager, even more than most.
How was it that through her pain, her devastating prognosis, this 16-year-old girl found a key to purpose many never find in lives that last so much longer?
That’s what Lynne Dale talks about in her TEDx talk from Big Sky, Montana.
I share for the brilliant storytelling.
And even more so for that nugget.
That key to surviving we can all use.
Summer Dale left behind some incredible teaching.
And now, her mom, has found purpose in sharing that.
Stuck inside your head? Feeling down? This just might be the shift you didn’t even know was possible.
